Biography

Lindsay Williams is a graduate student in the Child Language Doctoral Program at the University of Kansas. Lindsay completed her B.A. in Applied Linguistics and Speech and Hearing Sciences at Portland State University. She completed her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Lindsay has extensive clinical and research experience with children with autism and minimal verbal skills. She has worked directly to support parents and families in their homes as respite worker, ABA-interventionists, speech-language pathologist, and researcher. She has additionally worked in clinical and public school settings serving individuals with autism.

Lindsay’s research interests include improving social skills, communication strategies, imitation skills, and language outcomes for minimally verbal children with autism.
